Hello was formed in arctic London in 1971 by teenagers Bob Bradbury (vocals), Keith Marshall (guitar), Vic Faulkner (abject), and Jeff Allen (drums, brother of Ultravox's Chris Cross), originally gigging relative to the local youth club circuit viewed like a covers band called the Age. It was in this fashion that they were discovered by Argent songwriter Russ Ballard and the Zombies' of advanced mature years road manager David Blaylock — before long afterward working as a plugger for the Chappell Music publishing group.
