Trademark applications, we don't need no stinking trademark applications. Google launched its own web browser recently. I downloaded it today, and it's smoking fast and is a handy tool in my work environment. As usual I took a peek at the United States Patent and Trademark Office's records and found that as of today, no trademark application had been filed for "CHROME" by Google. I guess that the school of thought in Mountain View, California is that when you are this big, you don't need no stinking trademark application, at least before you launch the brand into commerce.

Google Launches Chrome Browser, But No Trademark Application On File Yet
