APPLE’S ALTER EGO FILES A BARAGE OF NEW APPLICATIONS

In an apparent effort to up the ante on Cisco, Ocean Telecom Services, LLC., (Apple's alleged alter ego) filed seven trademark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on January 8, 2007. The new “IPHONE” trademark applications filed by Apple’s alter ego were all filed under an “intent-to-use” basis. Each of the applications lists certain goods or services for which Ocean Telecom “intends” to use the trademark. However, this action is clear signal to Cisco that APPLE/OCEAN is ready to fight for the trademark. Take a look at the proposed goods and services as listed on the new trademark applications:

2. periodicals, publications, and manuals
3.
